How to Fix Pinterest App Not Working Issue on iPhone and iPad
Clear Cache and Browsing History in Pinterest
- Launch Pinterest on your iOS device.

For example, the latest app version 8.24 (as of 10th July 2020) is crashing abruptly on my iPhone X, running the latest iOS 13.5.1 The same happens on an iPhone running the beta version of iOS 14. In such a situation, waiting for the developer to release a fix, is a possible solution.
Update: The most recent app crashing was due to problems in Facebook's login SDK. It was happening even if you did not use Facebook to log in to Pinterest or had the FB app on your iPhone. Due to this, not only Pinterest but Spotify, Tinder, and other apps were crashing as well. It has been addressed now.
Delete the App and Reinstall It Again

Turn off Background App Refresh
Even if you close any app, it continues to refresh in the background to ensure it remains live and kicking all the time. Turning off background app can help you fix this problem.
Open the Settings app on your device → General → Background App Refresh.
Now, tap on Background App Refresh and choose Off.
Disabling this feature can also help extend the battery life of your device and reduce the data consumption.
Disable Location Services
Try turning off Location Services as well. It's yet another power-hungry feature that puts a lot of pressure on the battery. To do this: Open the Settings app → Privacy → Location Services → Turn off the toggle.
